What we like to do best when it is requested by a client, is to invent out of our imagination a totally new award idea.

We can take and cut and fuse crystal to make something special. For one client we created a shape of a castle with turrets.

We can mold out of ground up stone unusual shaped marble awards. For one client we created a scene of a pavement truck out in front of a background.

We can cut and mold lucite into special shapes and then embed a product or picture within that lucite. For one client we took the letter M and fused into it a lightning bolt.

When you want to do something special, don't be afraid to ask. We'll be proud to invent.Marvin Weisenthalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09804100238435583882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-34170745829761871812007-12-14T14:01:00.001-05:002007-12-14T14:03:00.853-05:00Truly Custom Awards Page updatedAlong with adding to our individual custom awards pages, we have updated the main Truly Custom Awards Page.

http://www.awardsideas.com/truly-custom-awards-a/122.htm

We use the highest quality materials in the production of our awards. Like your honoree, a globe award is all encompassing. Our world is the only one in the solar system that is able to sustain life as we know it, as your employee stands out as sustaining their efforts. A globe award is worldly, as your recipient is, having gained wisdom and experience in their travels that they put to good use for your cause. A globe award encompasses responsibility, as your recipient always seems to have the world in their hands and be caring for it with finesse and grace.

For the world-rocking, earth shattering, globally wonderful recipients in your world, consider a Globe Award.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Globe-Awards-s/108.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-8773710870469388842007-11-30T11:28:00.000-05:002007-12-09T11:29:33.556-05:00The brilliance of a diamond and the brilliance of your honoree come together.Diamonds are known the world over as a thing of beauty and grace. Your honoree is similar to one of our diamond shaped awards in a number of ways, as they are both:

Valuable. They are valuable because of the rarity of their character and the elegance they represent.

Strong. A diamond is the hardest surface on earth, able to cut effortlessly through any material it is presented just as your honoree cuts through red tape and issue that come up in projects.

Brilliant. Every facet of a diamond reflects the light around it as your honoree reflects their inner brilliance and intelligence in their efforts.

If you've got diamonds in your organization, let them shine. Consider a diamond-shaped award today.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Diamond-Awards-s/110.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-37423630219673732272007-11-28T11:19:00.000-05:002007-12-09T11:23:39.299-05:00Arches stand the test of time, and so does your recipient.Arch Shaped Awards are so popular because of the symbolism that the arch encompasses. Bridges are often made of arches because they are both strong and quick to build. An arch will hold strong over years of use because gravity compresses the materials downward and adds to it's strength over time. Arches are symbols of power and strength, as can be seen in the St. Louis arch. If your recipient is steadfast, strong and capable, an arch award is a good choice for them.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Arch-Shaped-Awards-s/113.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-35456892579496552502007-11-27T09:55:00.000-05:002007-12-09T11:19:40.200-05:00Circular awardsCircular Awards are great to give to recipients both for their beauty and their symbolism. Everyone has heard the sayings "coming full circle" to describe a completed action. Everyone knows the idea of "circling the wagons" to protect something valuable or significant. The circle symbolizes completion, fulfillment, reinvention or success. Do these qualities describe your recipient? If so, you should consider a circular award.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Circular-Awards-s/111.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-60234740127904024792007-11-26T09:52:00.000-05:002007-12-09T09:55:44.037-05:00Obelisk awards are towers of strength, just like your honoreeObelisk Awards encompass the mighty obelisk, a shape as old as the Egyptian and Roman Empires. These towers with pyramids on top of symbols of power. When thinking of the power players in your organization, doesn't it make sense to honor them with an obelisk award?

We carry dozens of obelisks in many materials, including some unique shapes.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Obelisk-Awards-s/107.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-11168642659314766742007-11-25T09:51:00.000-05:002007-12-09T09:51:42.294-05:00Pyramid Awards speak to the strength, determination, precision and dedication of your honoree.Pyramid Awards are symbols of hard work, dedication and strength. When considering the amount of man power and design that was required to build the Great Pyramids of Egypt, you can fully understand the monumental undertaking that constructing a pyramid really was. It was with great skill, mathematical precision and hard work that the visions of the Pharoahs came to life one bring at a time.

The symbolism of a pyramid matches the symbolism of the hard workers and innovative thinkers in your organization. Both your recipient and the pyramids embody:

Strength. The natural strength of a pyramid is seen throughout nature and in your honoree.

Determination. The building of the great pyramids was a time consuming endeavor, taking thousands of people to complete. The determination of building a pyramid is matched by your honoree.

Precision. The mathematical prowess of the pyramid designers is unmistakable. Honor the precise actions of your honoree.

Dedication. Every brick in the construction of a pyramid is a brick towards it's completion. Look at every brick of accomplishment that your honoree has put into place and you'll see why the pyramid fits their accomplishment.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Pyramid-Awards-s/112.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-55721193420732542252007-11-20T13:21:00.000-05:002007-12-08T13:26:25.035-05:00Sports Awards available for athletes of all kindsSports Awards are given to athletes of all sports, and aren't just for those who take 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. Stars have been a symbol of brilliance, guidance, prosperity, wisdom and longevity for many centuries. As everyone who sees a star understands it's power and grace, it's easy to see why giving a star award to the stars of your organization is an obvious choice.

The symbolism of a star matches closely the greatness of your recipient, who both are:

Bright and shining examples of what is possible. A star shines brightly in the heavens as the stars of your organization shine brightly in your office.

Fine examples of longevity. Stars are billions of years old and continue to shine. Those who have made successes in your organization for 5 years, 10 years, 20 years or a lifetime of service share these same characteristics.

Inspirational. As hundreds of poets, scholars, astronomers, sailors, playwrights and nobility have gazed upon the stars for inspiration and guidance, so have the coworkers who rely on your shining stars to provide them assistance, help and guidance.

Brilliant. A star's light may take years or even decades to reach earth, but the brilliance carries through. That same brilliance can be found in the stars of your company. They're always the first with bright ideas and they carry the torch for these ideas with clarity, brilliance and radiance.

Celebrate the stars in your organization with one of our brilliant star awards. They will be as impressed and grateful to receive it as you will be giving it.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Star-Awards-s/106.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-62007667678740329892007-11-18T13:02:00.000-05:002007-12-08T13:09:36.357-05:00A triangle award is a symbol of perfection.A triangle, be it man made or in nature, is a symbol of perfection. If you consider all of the symbolism of a triangle, you could apply many of those facets to the perfectionists within your organization. A triangle award will reflect their commitments and integrity.

A triangle, much like your recipient, is...

One of the strongest shapes in nature. The strength of a triangle can be seen in buildings and in all civilization.

A shape that spreads load evenly and manages itself very well. Since all pressure is put on the angles of a triangle evenly, it balances loads just as your recipient balances task.

Easily fit together with other triangles. Because of their precision and equality, a triangle fits with other triangles to improve on processes as a whole.

Adjustable to fit any need. As triangles in nature become oblong, they still maintain their structure and integrity. As new tasks challenge one of your recipients, they make adjustments and stay strong.

http://www.awardsideas.com/Triangular-Awards-s/114.htm
Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-80567515727515196312007-11-08T13:01:00.000-05:002007-12-08T13:02:44.514-05:00Profits aren't the only thing that soars with an eagle on your team. Our Eagle awards are amongst the most unique awards on our site. Some of us find greatness in our hobbies. Others in our jobs. Others in our interests and pursuits. For those who work for you that are champions, how do you reward them?

Dictionary.com defines a champion as :

Someone who has won first place in a competition

Someone who fights for a cause

Supporter: a person who backs a politician or a team etc.

Protect or fight for as a champion

Holding first place in a contest

Ace: someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field

Every one of these definitions of champions is deserving of an award! Each champion can play an important role in your business, and here are examples of each kind of champion which you can award for their successes.

Someone Who has won first place in a Competition: Perhaps this is your lead sales person? Your fastest production assistant? Your most talented and acclaimed art director? Any person who is at the top of their game should be commended and rewarded for their efforts.

Someone who fights for a cause: Perhaps you've got a zealous office manager who always double checks the paperwork and keeps the business running smoothly? Perhaps your janitorial staff is always going above and beyond? Perhaps your I.T. professionals are always finding innovative ways to save you money? A simple award goes a long way to showing these champions how much you appreciate them.

Supporter: a person who backs a politician or a team etc: Could your sales manager do his job without a team of excellent account executives backing him up? Could your marketing team do as well as they did without support from your production team or the rest of your crew? These champions should be validated for their efforts with an award of support.

Protect or fight for as a champion: Perhaps you have someone on staff who is overcoming professional obstacles to be where they are today? Perhaps every day shows improvement both for themselves and the company? Perhaps these champions work every day to better themselves and their environment? These champions deserve a figment of your gratitude as well.

Holding first place in a contest: Do you have that one long time employee that always outperforms others in their industry? Do they constantly challenge themselves to do better and improve their process? Do they perform so well that no one eclipses their title as "Leader"? This long-running Champions should be awarded with one of our grand awards to commemorate their lifetime of continual dedication to being the best.

Ace: someone who is dazzlingly skilled in any field: Is there someone in your facility that is a prodigy at their craft? Perhaps they have a natural gift that they use to their competitive advantage? Perhaps they've proven themselves proficient to a point that they teach others simply by doing. These champions should be rewarded with a token of your admiration as well.

No matter what kind of champions you have in your facility, every one of them is a good candidate for an award. We are always wanting to hear success stories!Marvin Weisenthalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09804100238435583882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-86187824125572755212007-10-08T12:55:00.000-04:002007-12-08T12:57:49.488-05:00Awards now offered in "Awards by Shape" formatIn addition to "awards by material" and "awards by price", we now offer a menu of "awards by shape" for our more popular shapes and elements. Luckily for me, I have a fantastic team of co-workers. Every one of them is brilliant, decisive and intelligent. I couldn't ask for a better team. I consider myself lucky.

Maybe your team as a whole isn't as productive as you want them to be, but you've got one or two shining stars that always pull through. These are the guys who work late to finish projects or the gals who show up early for the meeting to double check that everything is in order. These are the superstars in your group that exceed sales records and find new ways to turn old products into new ideas. These are the champions of causes that get real changes made to improve your bottom line. These people stand out, and the best of them are humble while doing it.

When's the last time you recognized them for these actions?

A simple pat on the back goes a long way. A gift certificate shows you recognize their actions. What about something even nicer? Perhaps a small desk award for their office? Perhaps something even bigger and grander to reflect the grand job they've been doing?

I recommend you look at some of our art glass awards for just such achievers. These are small and inexpensive items that will put a smile on the face of anyone who receives them.

http://www.awardsideas.com/C-Series-Art-Glass-Awards-s/31.htm

Want to go even beyond this? Any of the awards on AwardsIDEAS will show your appreciation for those special recipients.Denis Baldwinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04189654726550902610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7789508458602351051.post-14280703441866605142007-05-29T15:21:00.001-04:002007-05-29T15:22:59.168-04:00Welcome to the AwardsIDEAS.com blog!I've created this blog to discuss the happenings going on with AwardsIDEAS.com, our awards and recognition site.
